Cassandra Project in Rome: Slotmoment van een Europees vertelavontuur

De internationale vertelwereld verzamelde afgelopen week in Rome voor de jaarlijkse conferentie van FEST (Federation for European Storytelling). Een bruisende ontmoetingsplek waar vertellers, programmamakers en organisaties uit heel Europa samenkomen om ervaringen te delen, te netwerken en nieuwe technieken te ontdekken.
Dit jaar stond het jonge talent van het Cassandra Project in de spotlight. Na een intensief traject van uitwisseling, coaching en ontwikkeling mochten de jonge storytellers en hun mentoren het project afsluiten in stijl: met een Engelstalige voorstelling waarin hun persoonlijke verhalen centraal stonden. Hiermee stelden ze zich voor aan het internationale vertelpubliek en zetten ze een volgende stap in hun groei als verteller.
Naast het optreden namen de deelnemers deel aan een breed scala aan workshops en presentaties; van verteltechnieken en interculturele storytelling tot het bouwen van een carrière als verteller. Het was een inspirerende, leerzame en verbindende afsluiting van een bijzonder Europees project dat ruimte gaf aan nieuwe stemmen en verhalen.
