Looking for an exceptional location for your general assembly, board of directors meeting or workshop for customers or employees? The tranquil surroundings and magnificent castle setting provides a special experience for all types of events.
Together we will discuss your needs and look at which rooms are the most suitable. Within our unique heritage site, there is a room to suit every event. All rooms offer a stable WiFi connection and are equipped with an AV installation for presentations or hybrid meetings.
With more than 30 rooms, and several outdoor locations in a beautiful historic setting, we can accommodate a wide range of events, from a meeting for 10 or a reception for 500, to outdoor events for thousands of visitors.
Conferences & trade shows
Alden Biesen is also the right place for multi-day congresses. Together, we determine the needs for plenary meeting and break-out locations, and we will take a closer look at the programming during your stay in Alden Biesen. Additional wishes such as integrating hybrid keynote speakers or placing interpreting booths are all possible.

For all your catering options, the Alden Biesen kitchen team, with its typical Limburg hospitality and delicious catering, is ready to serve you. It is also possible to choose from a fixed list of preferred caterers. Various formulas are possible here. Depending on your event, we will gladly adjust our offer and see what suits best.

Alden Biesen is already the location of many wonderful events, festivals and TV recordings that have found their home or have been recorded on our domain over the years.

Are you looking for a location to start your own event, feel free to come and talk to the Alden Biesen team. Together we will look at whether the sense-of-place of our site matches, what possibilities there are to tell your story. Our team has extensive experience with small and large public events and can advise and assist you.
Film scouts and TV producers are always welcome to take a tour of the estate and discover the many possibilities and styles of our buildings.

Flanders Heritage Venue
Taking into account our unique heritage setting and organisational possibilities, we make conscious choices as to which activities to accommodate on site. In addition to smaller private/membership activities and MICE events, events open to the public (both free and paying) are measured against various criteria to ensure they are in line with the image and sense-of-place of the domain.
The Grand Commandery Alden Biesen received the prestigious Flanders Heritage Venue label and has won several awards for best conference location in Belgium. In short, a location with a unique story and an inspiring heritage experience.
Sleeping accommodations
Did you know that overnight stays are an option? The Grand Commandery Alden Biesen has 30 rooms, with a total of 54 beds.
Our sleeping accommodations can however only be booked by companies or associations who organise an event, congress or meeting at Alden Biesen. These rooms are therefore not available for individual visitors. We gladly refer individuals or families to the many hotels, b&b's and holiday homes in the nearby towns.
