Afternoon program for children from 4 to 10 years old - Fabula Belgica
This afternoon, join storytellers Chris De Backer and Tom Van Mieghem on a playful storytelling journey through the brightly colored Engels Park. With Fabula Belgica, you'll gather surprising stories from various Belgian provinces together.
Evening program for adults (16+) - Beyond the Border
Expect a friendly mix of storytelling and music as you stroll as a group from story to story through the atmospherically lit surroundings of the Land Commandery. We'll begin and end the walk together in the castle courtyard. There will also be an opportunity to enjoy a refreshing drink.
Ynys Convents, Chris De Backer, Samora de Boer, Marin Millenaar, Boudewijn Van den Brande and Tom Van Mieghem will each treat you to a good story at an atmospheric location in the English park or in an adjacent meadow.
They all push the boundaries. Sometimes tangible, sometimes imaginary, it forms the common thread of this autumnal storytelling evening.
Be surprised by the simplicity of a good story in a beautiful location!
Note:
Stories in the Park is preferably an outdoor event.
Sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing are strongly recommended.
In case of bad weather, we provide a storytelling trail in the halls of the Land Commandery itself.
Tickets are available in advance only, no box office sales.
