Enjoy the sounds of the impressive organ during Organum Imperiale Plus, a concert organised by the Bach Academy Alden Biesen. The church's unique acoustics and the organ's historic character create an intense musical experience.

House organist Dana Hemelaer contacted Denis Roosen & Marieke Vos, who will perform a selection of baroque works that highlight the power and subtlety of the instrument.

Denis Roosen is the titular organist of the Penceler/Smet/Thomas organ in Tessenderlo. He also plays a harpsichord (copy by Ioannes Ruckers, 1624) by Volker Platte.

Marieke Vos plays a baroque violin by the German builder Leonhard Maussiel, Nuremberg ca. 1730. She is a violin teacher at the Conservatory of Leuven.
