As host of Europe's largest multilingual storytelling festival, Alden Biesen welcomes around twenty professional storytellers from various regions every April. They fill our beautiful grounds with colourful stories in various languages.
During the week, Alden Biesen opens its castle gates wide to secondary and higher education students. Adult education students can join us in the evenings, and on weekends, anyone who is passionate about this pure performing art is welcome.

Looking for a unique educational outing? Come listen to stories in various languages at Alden Biesen. We offer a variety of storytelling performances tailored to your class or school, as well as the unique opportunity to hear native speakers perform live.
Adult education
Our Storytelling Festival, with its stories, offers the perfect complement to your language lessons. Come listen to authentic stories in your chosen language. Those who enjoy a bit of conversation are welcome to join us afterward in our Storytelling Café.
