On Sunday, 2 November, Saint Nicholas makes his joyful entrance into Alden Biesen.
Accompanied by his horse Paulien, the Saint Nicholas Palace Petes, and a colorful entourage, he marches through the Maastrichterallée toward the Saint Nicholas Square. There, a warm welcome awaits, with music, banners, and a speech from the balcony of the Saint Nicholas Palace.
The arrival procession is a celebration for all ages, with a touch of magic, a dash of tradition, and a generous dose of fun for children. Come dressed up, sing along, and experience the moment when the gifting season officially begins!
