The former steward’s house of Alden Biesen stands on the hilly part of the road to the town of Bilzen . It was built in the second part of the 17th century in the traditional style of the Meuse region. From this high point – with a bit of an effort - you can see the castle complex. in the distance. From the other side of the road you can enjoy the Demer valley with the beautiful path to Biesen.
